The room was beautifully decorated with original work from 150 years ago and the location was perfect, surrounded by great bars and restaurants.
The breakfast could have been better, perhaps with more variety or options to choose from.

During my recent stay at Guesthouseamsterdam, I was impressed by the warm and accommodating atmosphere. The owner, Peggy, was friendly and provided helpful information about the local area. The room was cozy and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Although there was a slight damp smell in the room, it wasn't unbearable and airing out the room helped. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this guest house to others.

The rooms at Guesthouseamsterdam have a cozy seating area that makes you feel right at home. I loved the fact that every room has its own private bathroom, complete with a bath or shower. It was a nice surprise to find a coffee machine and a kettle in my room, perfect for a morning pick-me-up. This double room had a tea/coffee maker and an electric kettle, which was really convenient. The free toiletries and hair dryer provided in the room were a nice touch. Each room also had a flat-screen TV, perfect for some relaxation after a long day.
Personally, I didn't find much use for the tea/coffee maker in the double room, but others might enjoy it.
